This Maquia is a real burst of colour and flavour – ripe blackberry leading the charge, beautifully complemented by a surprising depth of dark chocolate. It’s a robust wine, certainly worthy of the Douro Valley and with the potential to age gracefully. Wonderful with a good grilled fish or a hearty beef stew, really.
