Description

This “Mar de Lisboa” from Wine & Soul certainly seems to have enjoyed a prolonged fermentation – that mashing has gifted it with a texture reminiscent of particularly ripe stone fruit. The Verdelho and Arinto contribute a lovely summery freshness, balancing the pear’s creaminess with a vibrant lemon zest acidity – a quite intriguing contrast, to say the least. Critics at Grandes Escolhas were suitably impressed, describing it as “beautifully aromatic” – a well-deserved compliment, undoubtedly. It pairs exceptionally well with fresh seafood or grilled fish.
