This Maria Izabel, born right in the heart of the Douro, isn’t messing around. Built on a foundation of Touriga Nacional and with a generous splash of Dão, it’s a bold statement of those classic Portuguese grapes. Expect a substantial body and a good grip of tannins – a wine that’s certainly earned its silver medal at the International Wine Challenge, and would pair beautifully with a slow-roasted beef.
