The most prestigious vineyard in the entire Mosel region is located in the district of Zeltinger and is identified by a sundial (Sonnenuhr). Markus Molitor is currently the owner with the largest hectares of this famed vineyard, whose soil contains complex mineral densities, including the characteristic blue slate of the Devonian period.
