Marquês d’Almeida **Grape Varieties** The wine was produced at our Quinta das Marvalhas winery in Almendra. We selected grapes grown in vineyards in the Beira Interior region, around Figueira de Castelo Rodrigo, from the Syrah, Fonte Cal, and Malvasia varieties. **Vinification** At our winery, equipped with the latest technology and full temperature control, we removed any bunches that were not in perfect condition. The grapes were destemmed completely, then gently crushed and allowed to macerate with their skins for about 12 hours. After this period, under an inert atmosphere, the juice was pressed in a pneumatic press. The must was then clarified for 24 to 48 hours, depending on the grape variety and ripeness level. Alcoholic fermentation took place at a controlled temperature between 12 °C and 14 °C. The wines matured on fine lees in stainless‑steel tanks until bottling. **Allergen Information** Contains sulfites. SKU: 100225
