This Castillo Ygay Gran Reserva Especial is a Rioja that clearly enjoyed a lengthy journey to reach our glasses. Ten months ageing in new American oak barrels certainly paid off – the result is a wine with remarkable longevity and complexity, still retaining a lively structure.
