The house Pinot Blanc was grown in 2002 on steep slate and pebble hillsides with a small percentage of clay. After gentle pressing and partial fermentation in oak barrels, the wine shows a mineral profile and aromas of almond, toffee, and honey. An excellent example of the region's excellence, it won first place in its category. Following the first documented purchase of a vineyard plot in Brauneberg on 17 April 1643, the company was officially founded in 1680, establishing a winemaking legacy of more than 300 years. Since then, the family has followed the motto: "Great wines are made in the vineyard, not in the cellar." A elegant manor house was built in 1774, and in 1880 the modern cellar was constructed, housing one of the largest collections of wooden casks in the Mosel. Today, the company is in its 9th generation, with Constantin MF Richter, the 10th generation, actively involved in the business since 2012. (illustrative image only)
