Description

This Maynards is a deliciously decadent mystery, a little sin from the Douro. The deep, brick-red colour hints at the richness to come. Notes of molasses and caramel – a gift from extended ageing – intertwine with ripe black cherry and fig, all underpinned by the characteristic backbone of Touriga Nacional. A robust wine, perfectly balanced by acidity, it’s superb with aged cheeses or grilled beef.
