Meerlust Cabernet Sauvignon Tinto

Description

Red wine produced from Cabernet Sauvignon grapes, carefully selected. After 17 months of ageing in fine-grained French oak barrels, it presents an intense purple colour with some signs of ageing and pronounced notes of plum, cedar wood, fennel and licorice. On the palate it is full-bodied, yet rich in fruit and with a flexible tannic structure. The Meerlust Estate is located in Stellenbosch, a premium quality wine region of the Coastal area, on the Cape West coast of South Africa. A family-owned company that began its journey in the wine world in 1756, it is now led by the eighth generation of the Myburgh family and is also recognised worldwide for the quality of its wines.
