This Megaphone Sauvignon from the Algarve bursts with a frankly exuberant tropical character, practically demanding a maracuja (passionfruit) obsession. Jasmine blossoms peek through, balanced by a refreshing herbaceousness – and a surprisingly welcome hint of green tomato leaf. It’s a delightfully dry wine, underpinned by a subtle mineral note mirroring the local limestone, and would be absolutely superb with grilled white fish or, dare I say it, some salty greens with feta.
