The bottles of aged wines may show traces of dust and damaged labels, which is expected given their age. The National Cellar commits to storing all wines at the correct temperature and humidity, but always chooses to preserve the visual appearance that reflects their age. We conduct a selection of brands and regions that, normally, exhibit distinct characteristics in tastings of old wines. However, we inform you that wine is a living organism, and even when sealed in a bottle, its aromas evolve over time. Thus, the National Cellar cannot be held responsible for the product’s quality, as it is an aged wine. Our recommendation is to open the bottle and let the wine aerate beforehand, which will help release its natural aromas after many years of closure. If you choose to decant the wine before serving, do so patiently to detect the sediment that an old wine tends to produce. *(illustrative image only)*
