After years of selling to other producers, Michel Ogier only began bottling his own wines in the 1980s. His son Stephane took the reins of the Domaine at the end of the 1990s and carved out a strong reputation for himself. After a decade of winemaking, he established himself as one of the largest Côte‑Rôtie producers. He cultivates small plots along Côte‑Rôtie. His wines are typically Côte‑Rôtie, but refined with a modern polish. Nothing is too systematic; every detail in the winemaking process is carefully considered and techniques are adapted as needed. The wines are aged in oak barrels for 18 to 24 months, with 20–100 % new oak. They are glorious wines—captivating and seductive, yet with the density and breadth required of a true Côte‑Rôtie.
