This Mira, hailing from humble vineyards in the Bucelas valley, throws a delightfully wild card. The blend of cool, clay-calcareous soils alongside sun-drenched spots perfectly showcases the Arinto grape with an impressively raw honesty. A deliberately low-key, artisanal winemaking process – long fermentation on the skins – truly lets the grape’s character shine. A truly worthwhile Bucelas DOC, and frankly, one you’ll want to hold onto for a few years… particularly good with some freshly grilled fish.
