Molares Escolha Rosé

Description

The Molares Escolha rosé enchants with its delicate pale pink hue and its captivating aroma of wild berries. On the palate, it reveals an enveloping freshness, with a subtle herbal touch that gives it character and balance. Sourced from schist soils at 200 metres above sea level, this rosé expresses the authenticity of its terroir, resulting in a light, refreshing and versatile wine, perfect for relaxed moments. It was from 1700 onwards that the Meireles Family began to cultivate grapes and produce wine in Celorico de Basto, a municipality located in the Province of Minho, in the north of Portugal. In 1980, Gonçalo Cristovam Meireles Dias, married to D. Angela Maria Meireles Dias, took over Quinta da Cerca, one of the family's beautiful estates. From that time on, they invested in expanding wine production in the Vinhos Verdes region, building a new winery with greater production capacity. Today, Adega Molares owns an area of approximately 50 hectares, producing red, white and rosé wines. (image for illustrative purposes only)
