“Monologo Arinto” certainly lives up to its dramatic name. This Arinto boasts a wonderfully vibrant acidity, almost playfully insistent on the palate – think a slightly off-key, yet undeniably talented, pianist. The wine’s flavours of dried fig and herbaceous notes clearly reflect the slatey soils of the Douro, showcasing the grape’s remarkable expressiveness once again. It would be fantastic with a grilled white fish and a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil.
