Montaria “Montaria” is a tribute to man’s best friend: the dog. Our Montaria, a genuine German shepherd, lives at the Herdade da Candeeira in the heart of Redondo (Alentejo) and accompanies the winemaking team every day, sharing the work and spirit of a place where wines with soul are born. **Region** Alentejo is the largest and one of the most diverse wine regions in Portugal. With a Mediterranean climate influenced by continental conditions, it is known for its large temperature swings, especially in the more inland areas near the Spanish border. The region offers an impressive range of grape varieties: - **White:** Antão Vaz, Roupeiro, Arinto - **Red:** Aragonês, Trincadeira, Alicante Bouschet **Vinification** The grapes were carefully selected from the finest parcels. After de‑stemming, a brief cold maceration was performed, followed by controlled fermentation at 16 °C to preserve the primary aromas and the wine’s natural freshness. **Allergen Information** Contains sulfites.
