This Montaria Reserva from the Alentejo clearly took its time – and it shows. Crafted with Trincadeira and Aragonez grapes, you’re looking at a wine with a wonderfully vibrant acidity and noticeable tannins, quintessential Alentejo style. The producer describes a “rich character” and “red fruit notes,” hinting at a wine with a developing complexity and perhaps a touch of spice. Seriously, this would be fantastic with a good grilled beef dish or a hearty pork stew – a classic pairing, really.
