Casca Wines is a project of winemakers and wine specialists who, without a vineyard or cellar, decided to create a brand of high‑quality Portuguese wines. It only uses the best grapes from each region, aiming to revive Portugal’s unique traditions. The Monte Cascas brand reflects the character of its vintners: passionate, dedicated, and unique! This single‑vineyard wine from the Tejo features a century‑old Fernão Pires vine, aged 18 months in used French oak barrels. On the nose it offers orange‑peel, white‑flower notes with touches of bergamot and grapefruit. On the palate it is rich and full‑bodied, with citrus and bergamot flavours, finishing fresh, creamy and persistent.
