This Monte da Peceguina is a truly impressive red – a testament to the intensity of the Alentejo. Primarily crafted with Trincadeira, alongside a touch of Aragonez, it delivers a wonderfully vibrant acidity and firm tannins, hallmarks of the region. The judges at Revista de Canais recognised this complexity, with notes of fresh red fruits and a lingering finish. It’s a fantastic match for grilled beef or a rich mushroom risotto.
