This white wine from Quinta do Monte São Sebastião is a delightful surprise – a real echo of the Douro’s northern slopes, brimming with citrus notes of lemon and bergamot. The vines, aged around 30 years at 550 metres, deliver a remarkable balance, clearly showcasing the skill of the winemaker in utilising these ‘old vine’ Rabigato and Viosinho alongside the Gouveio. A noteworthy achievement, particularly considering the estate’s commitment to providing a holistic experience. Delicious with grilled fish or a fresh oyster, naturally.
