This Monte Tondo from San Pietro is a true revelation from the Valpolicella region – a remarkably early harvest, driven by the passion of the growers, is clearly evident. The extended maceration, carefully managed between 18 and 30 degrees Celsius, allows the Corvina and Rondinella grapes to fully express their potential, resulting in a wonderfully concentrated fruit profile. A generous six-month aging in barriques and tonneaux has added a sophisticated elegance, and it’s perfectly suited to pairing with grilled red meats.
