Description

This Monte Xisto is clearly a wine that’s had a spirited conversation with the Douro breezes. A clever blend – 30% of older, ‘unoaked’ batches and 70% Touriga Nacional – aiming for the elegance and complexity this terroir demands. Hand-harvested, carefully transported, and fermented with indigenous yeasts, it’s a classic approach, but the real magic happens with its aging in Vila Nova de Gaia barrels, close to the sea, where the humidity and mild climate give it a uniquely velvety texture. Seriously delicious with grilled fish or a hearty beef roast.
