Production: To craft this special Reserva wine—one of the region of Alentejo’s oldest brands—we carefully pre‑selected grapes from the vineyard’s oldest vines, monitoring their maturation closely. Only the finest grapes were hand‑picked. At the winemaking centre they were crushed, fermented and kept in contact with the skins for 10 to 12 days to draw out maximum fruit complexity and aroma. Malolactic fermentation occurred partially in stainless‑steel vats and the rest in wooden barrels. The final blend was aged for 12 months in new French and American oak barrels to gain further structure and depth, then for another 6 months in bottles in our cellar.
