This Morgado do Quintão Negra Mole is a seriously sun-drenched delight, boasting a colour reminiscent of that classic Alentejo sunshine and a lovely note of fresh cherry, balanced with a hint of brioche – like a perfectly warm loaf. The palate is surprisingly robust and mineral, with a depth that begs to be enjoyed alongside some aged cheeses, or perhaps as a decadent finale with a conventual sweet. Critics have rightly recognised its quality, awarding it 89 points – a well-deserved accolade for a wine that undeniably speaks of its terroir.
