Description

The production of Moscatel, as a liqueur wine, is similar to that of Port wine, resulting in sweet wines whose alcoholic fermentation is halted by the addition of grape spirit. After a defined period of skin maceration, the Moscatel wine is placed in barrels to age and refine its profile, becoming richly aromatic. These wines are produced from the various Moscatel grape varieties, internationally renowned for their aromatic richness and natural sugar concentration.
