Description

The production of Moscatel, as a fortified wine, is similar to that of Port wines, resulting in sweet wines whose alcoholic fermentation is halted by the addition of grape spirit. After a set period of skin maceration, the moscatel wine is aged in barrels to refine and deepen its aromatic profile. These wines are made from the various Moscatel grape varieties, internationally renowned for their aromatic richness and natural sugar concentration.
