Description

The production of Moscatel, as a liqueur wine, is similar to that of Port wines, resulting in sweet wines whose alcoholic fermentation is halted by adding wine brandy. After a set period of pellicular maceration, the Moscatel wine is transferred to barrels for ageing and refinement, developing a richly aromatic profile. These wines come from the various Moscatel grape varieties, internationally recognised for their aromatic richness and high natural sugar concentration.
