Thus, in the fifth generation, Dirk Niepoort emerged, an indispensable figure in the wine world, recognized as one of the most important personalities who has worked for—and continues to work for—Portuguese wine. He has collaborated with dozens of producers, helping them improve their wines and understand their vineyards, while also building his own legacy with those who consistently create irreverent wines.
