Thus, in the fifth generation, Dirk Niepoort was born – an unmistakable wine maker, regarded as one of the most important figures who has worked and continues to work for Portuguese wine. He has collaborated with dozens of producers, helping them improve their wines and understand their vineyards, while also shaping his own legacy alongside those who are constantly creating irreverent wines. Today, Dirk Niepoort collaborates on many other projects across virtually all Portuguese wine regions and some abroad.
