Thus, in the fifth generation, Dirk Niepoort was born—a dominant figure in the wine world, recognized as one of the most important personalities who has worked and continues to work for the benefit of Portuguese wine. He has collaborated with dozens of producers, helping them improve their wines and understand their vineyards, while also building his own legacy with those who are always creating bold wines. Today, Dirk Niepoort is involved in many other projects, spanning almost all of Portugal’s wine regions and several abroad. The bottling year may not match the image presented.
