Thus, in the fifth generation, Dirk Niepoort was born, an indispensable figure in the world of wines, recognised as one of the most important personalities to have championed Portuguese wine. He has worked with dozens of producers, helping them improve their wines and understand their vineyards, while also crafting his own legacy alongside those who continuously create irreverent wines.
