The foundation of this “blend” is a fine wine from 1863, of exceptionally high quality, which aged superbly until 1972 in barrels before being “bottled” in demijohns. The rare, ancestral wines that form part of this batch, combined with the demijohn aging, make this wine unique and give it tremendous potential for further refinement in the bottle.
