The Verdejo grape used to produce this white comes from a single vineyard: Las Suertes estate is located 850 metres above sea level, in the highest altitude zone of the Rueda DO, and its soils are sandy and very poor in nutrients. The low yield of its vines (almost a third of the maximum allowed by the Regulatory Council), combined with the careful winemaking and its maturation on lees, make this a wine to consider, with toasted and bakery aromas and a fruity, spiced flavour.
