This “O Estrangeiro” from the Dão, grown on ancient granite vines, delivers a truly evocative experience – like a stroll through the hills. Hand-harvested on September 24th, 2020, it showcases meticulous attention to detail, culminating in a carefully controlled fermentation in concrete tanks. The result is a vibrant ruby-red wine brimming with fresh red fruit and earthy nuances, a wine that certainly earned its 92 points. Perfect with a hearty game dish or a lovely roasted duck breast, naturally.
