Arianna Occhipinti believes that a wine is also a journey. Hence she named this white wine after the historic road that cuts across her estate, the mythical Strada Provinciale 68 (SP68) – a path that farmers had been traveling for three years with their amphorae, and later with their barrels, carrying the fruit of their work. The road has witnessed encounters and conversations about wine, and Arianna sought to capture that in this simple white, yet one that reflects a land defined by its fruitful fields and volcanoes – a quality that shines through when we taste it.
