This original red wine hails from La Chiusa, in Pettineo, the area that hosts the estate’s oldest vineyard, roughly 70 years old. The former owner turned it into an espalier, training the vines toward the Sicilian sky to create monumental shapes. According to Arianna Occhipinti herself, wines from this setting are marked by their fruity character, sustained acidity, and silky tannins. As a curiosity, this PT is vinified with whole bunches, without pressing.
