This rosé, clearly channeling its inspiration from Provence, surprisingly carries the spirit of the Douro. Jean-Hugues Gros has masterfully captured the youthful vigour of the vines – under 20 years old – and the expressive qualities of the Touriga Franca, Tinta Roriz, and Tinta Barroca. A careful fermentation at 15°C and a prolonged decanting period (48 hours) result in a remarkably fresh wine, boasting vibrant red fruit notes and a sophisticated finish, as commended by a leading wine publication (16 points). It’s a brilliant pairing for grilled fish or a vibrant berry salad, maintaining its delightful lightness.
