Vinification: The grapes come from two zones of the Douro, at altitudes between 450 and 650 m, grown on chalky and granite soils. The grapes are pressed and the must is decanted for 2 to 3 days at 10 °C. After clarification, fermentation occurs at 14 °C for 3 to 4 weeks. At the end of fermentation the wine is separated from the thicker lees and aged in stainless‑steel tanks until bottling. Suggestions: Pairs well with aperitifs, grilled fish and sushi. Store horizontally in a cool, dry place, away from light and temperature fluctuations. Serve at 10 °C to 11 °C. Consume in moderation. Awards and Recommendations 2019 Robert Parker – Wine Advocate, Mark Squires, USA | 88/100 pts: “Pale salmon in colour, this is fresh and flavorful, but all the flavours are dry and serious. There’s not a lot of power and only adequate depth, but this perky pink shows great value for the money. At least now, in its youth, it is worth leaning up a bit.” Revista de Vinhos, Manuel Moreira, Portugal | 16/20 pts: “Open salmon. Sophisticated aroma, delicate red fruit, pomegranate, dill, lacteous background, mineral hint. Full of details. In the mouth it has vigor, lively fruit, it is refreshing, dry, beautiful acidity and slight bitterness. Salty.” Good Buy seal 2018 International Wine Challenge, France | Gold 2017 Vinhos Grandes Escolhas, Luís Ramos Lopes, Portugal | 16/20 pts: “Very open pink colour, fine and elegant aroma, with subtle floral nuances, beautiful fruit. The delicate profile spans the entire tasting, with fruit always very clean and pure, in a light, smooth register without losing persistence.” Vinhos Grandes Escolhas, Portugal | Good Choice seal
