This Página DOC Óbidos, born from the vines of Quinta do Porto Nogueira and their Arinto, is a lovely reminder of sustainable practices and tradition. The 2012 grapes were carefully selected, particularly highlighting the south-east exposure of the ‘Vinha Miranda’. The fermentation, subtly infused with used Séguin Moreau oak, combined with 120 days of *batonnage*, results in a wine of surprising complexity. With a refreshing acidity of 8.8g/L and a pH of 2.85, and just 1.5g/L of residual sugar, it’s a brilliant match for fresh seafood or delicate white fish – a true testament to the region’s potential.
