Page Rosé is produced from the Pinot Noir grape, sourced from a 1.49‑hectare estate in the Óbidos denomination of origin. The production places a strong emphasis on environmental and health considerations; the grapes come from vineyards certified under Integrated Production standards, resulting in a selected and concentrated batch. After 50 % of the lot is aged in French oak barrels for five months, it displays a vibrant salmon colour, with elegant aromas of red fruit and a hint of toasted notes. In the mouth it reveals a crisp acidity and good mouthfeel, finishing with freshness and persistence. The Quinta do Porto Nogueira was founded in 1738, in the first half of the eighteenth century, and remained in the same family’s ownership until the second half of the twentieth century. The current owners acquired it at the beginning of the twenty‑first century. The 20 hectares of vineyards on the property are planted on clay soils, marked by the influence of the natural microclimate at the foot of the Serra de Todo-o-Mundo and by its proximity to the Atlantic Ocean, about 20 km away. A dry‑farmed vineyard that exhibits unique characteristics, unparalleled freshness, and natural salinity. Thus, the wines are distinguished by their singularity. (Illustrative image)
