The bottles of old wines may show dust traces and damaged labels, in line with their age. The National Cellar commits to storing all wines at the correct temperature and humidity, but always chooses to preserve the visual appearance inherent to their age. We select brands and regions that normally reveal distinct characteristics in old wine tastings. However, we note that wine is a living organism, and even inside a bottle its aromas evolve over time. Therefore the National Cellar cannot be held responsible for the product’s quality, as it is an old wine. Our recommendation is to open the bottle and let the wine aerate beforehand, which will help release its natural aromas after so many years closed.
