It is in the Chaves sub‑region, between the Tâmega and Ribeira de Oura valleys, in the Trás‑os‑Montes wine area, that the Palmeirim d'Inglaterra vines are planted on granite soils with a sandy, gritty texture. The current owners come from families long rooted in these lands and wanted to preserve the memory of their ancestors, producing quality wines that, combined with other activities, would honour the culture of this unique territory. Thus emerges the 2020 vintage white Palmeirim d'Inglaterra, which presents itself elegant, with good intensity and complexity, highlighting aromas of citrus fruits such as grapefruit, white flowers and ripe tropical fruits, complemented by subtle mineral notes.
