Old wine bottles may show traces of dust and damaged labels, which is normal for their age. The National Cellar is obliged to store all wines at the correct temperature and humidity, but always chooses to preserve the visual appearance inherent to their age. We select brands and regions that, as a rule, reveal distinct characteristics in tastings of old wines. However, we point out that wine is a living organism exposed to time, and even inside a bottle, aromas evolve in different ways. Accordingly, the National Cellar cannot be held responsible for the product quality, since it is an old wine. Our recommendation is to open the bottle and let the wine breathe first, as this will help release its natural aromas after many years of closure. If you choose to decant the wine before serving, do so patiently to detect the sediment that an old wine tends to produce. (Illustrative image)
