Bottles of aged wines may show dust or damaged labels, which is normal given their age. The National Cellar keeps all wines at the correct temperature and humidity, but it also preserves the visual character that comes with age. We select brands/regions that typically display distinct traits when tasting older wines. However, we note that wine is a living organism; even sealed, its aromas evolve over time. Thus the National Cellar cannot guarantee the product’s quality, as it is an old wine. We recommend opening the bottle and letting it aerate first, which helps release its natural aromas after many years closed.
