The bottles of vintage wines may show traces of dust and damaged labels, as is natural for their age. The National Cellar commits to storing all wines at the correct temperature and humidity, but always chooses to preserve the visual appearance inherent to their age. We select brands and regions that, by default, reveal distinct characteristics in tastings of old wines. However, we remind you that wine is a living organism that, even when sealed in a bottle, its aromas evolve over time. Therefore the National Cellar cannot be held responsible for the product’s quality, as it is an aged wine. Our recommendation is to open the bottle and let the wine aerate beforehand, which will help release its natural aromas after so many years closed. If you choose to decant the wine before serving, be sure to do so patiently so you can detect the sediment that an old wine tends to develop. (illustrative image only)
