The deep ruby colour immediately evokes intense aromas of wild berries and blackberries, subtly spiced – it’s as if the forest itself has been bottled. Remarkably balanced acidity and an elegant structure deliver a long, lingering finish, making it perfect with a good roasted duck or for pairing with some wild mushrooms. A deserved 18 points, no doubt!
