“From Pequenos Rebentos, this wine seems almost too perfectly crafted – a result of incredibly careful, perhaps even slightly over-the-top, winemaking. The grapes, a blend of Loureiro, Trajadura and Alvarinho, were harvested in small boxes, a clear sign of the winemakers’ dedication. Gentle pressing, intended to avoid any dramatic outbursts, followed, and the fermentation, using native yeasts in stainless steel, was halted before completion. The result is a surprisingly full-bodied wine that’s ideally suited to pairing with grilled white fish or freshly caught seafood.”
