The Antinori family has been producing wine for over six hundred years. Since 1385, Giovanni di Piero Antinori became a member of the Arte Fiorentina dei Vinattieri. Over its long history, spanning 26 generations, the family has always run this activity directly, making innovative and sometimes bold choices while always maintaining an unaltered respect for tradition and territory. Tenuta Pian delle Vigne is located 6 km southwest of Montalcino. The estate covers 184 hectares, 65 of which are vineyards, and represents the personal and profound interpretation of the Marchesi Antinori, reflected in a wine as prestigious and traditional as Brunello.
