Those Sangiovese grapes, so characteristic of the region, offer a truly lively acidity, resisting any attempts to dull it down. You get a feeling the Castellina in Chianti terroir was particularly generous, with all those beautiful red fruit and earthy notes. Seriously, pair it with a Maaremma tagliata and you might just find yourself letting out a little sigh of contentment.”
