This Arinto from Pico Island is a wonderfully earnest expression from the cooperative. The winemaker’s dedication to the volcanic soils is palpable – six months spent with the lees really shines through, delivering a breathtaking mineral intensity. Expect ripe citrus notes, a subtle volcanic sulfur character, and a remarkably persistent saline finish. Seriously delicious with grilled seafood, particularly cod.
